Joan Baez A person that stands up and is willing to take come in when there are others who are in need of help. Joan Baez was born(p) in Staten Island in the state if New York in 1941. When she was a kid she began telling in her churchs choir. Joan go to a non-violence rally in 1956 where she heard Martin Luther King verbalise around civil rights, and the importance of non-violence during the era of marge on rallies. It was also in 1956 she received her first guitar. As she learn how to butterfly her guitar, she also was inspired by Martin Luther Kings warmheartedness for equality and peacefulness. She moved to Los Angeles where she graduated from high school. Joan began perusal at Boston University, but do to the democraticity of her singing, she chose to pursue her singing flight instead. During the late 50s and early 60s Joan performed at a number of civil rights marches and rallies. Her focalization on civil rights shifted to the w ar in Vietnam. She was really verbal in her protest of the Vietnam war. Joan, along with Ira Sanderl lay piling the Institute for the Study of Non-Violence in 1965. Once again she participated in numerous marches. When Joan attempted to enroll 5 black children in a segregated school in 1966, she was permanetly banned from the school.
As a musician she continued to excel with top 10 status, and gold for a number of her records. Joan was also nominated for top hat Female Vocalist Grammy award.
